About
I am interested in how U.S. citizens and their leaders talk about education, particularly, education as a public enterprise. In pursuit of that interest, I work at the various crossroads of rhetoric and education. My work includes the analysis of policy discourses, laws, and social movements. Depending on the particular question I am trying to answer, I employ rhetorical history, rhetorical criticism, or qualitative research methods.
